Guarding the southeastern shores of Lough Allen, 585m-high Sliabh An Iarainn is one of the best known summits in Leitrim. Aghacashel situated between Drumshanbo and Ballinamore, just 13miles from Carrick-on-Shannon is the starting point for most of the walking trails.
