The competition for the Wedding Coordinator of the Year Award was keen with wedding venues and wedding specialist companies alike vying for this much coveted award. All nominations for this National Award came from Brides and Grooms – those who know best, a shortlist was then drawn up and it came down to just 6 individuals from throughout the country – the elite of the industry.
We are all thrilled for Patricia, her enthusiasm and dedication to each and every couple is amazing. Patricia personifies the Landmark Wedding Experience with energy, innovation, quality service, attention to detail and dependability. And of course there is a wonderful team working alongside Patricia all of whom mirror her passionate dedication to each Wedding Day. 1st Anniversary Letter
I would like to thank all at The Landmark for being part of our fairytale. On Friday 22nd February 2008 my now husband brought me to The Landmark Hotel for a night, he got down on one knee in the restaurant and proposed. The Management congratulated us and gave us a bottle of champagne. In April 2008 we came back to The Landmark and booked our wedding for 15th August 2009. The attention to ourselves and every little detail of our wedding from your Wedding Coordinator, Patricia was outstanding. The Landmark Hotel is what made our wedding so special. One year on we are living the fairytale, we have beautiful twins and we are so lin love, happy and content. I’ve turned into a wife & mother baking break for my husband and we spent our 1st Wedding Anniversary in the bridal suite in The Landmark bringing back wonderful memories. I would like to say a special thank you to Patricia, the Wedding Coordinator, who did more than her job and who will always be remembered for the beginning of our lives together. 1st Anniversary Letter
Dear Ciaran Kelly,
My husband and I held our Wedding Reception in the Landmark Hotel on Thursday June 18th 2009. Although, we are a little delayed in writing this note, please be assured that our sentiments are still the same.
I would like to sincerely thank the staff of The Landmark Hotel for making our wedding day so special. We were extremely impressed by the way everything was handled so professionally from start to finish.
In particular, I would like to mention the lovely Patricia Corrigan. From the first day we met Patricia for initial talks about our wedding, the assurance and the warmth we received from her immediately put our minds to rest and made our decision about where we wanted to host our wedding party an easy one.
Patricia was absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process of our wedding with The Landmark. She engaged with all of our vendors - florist, photographer, bands, etc.
I heard from a number of people that Patricia was nominated for and won Wedding Coordinator of the Year and in our view and from the feedback we have received from our many guests, it was delightful news.
I would also like to say a special thanks you to your chef, Pat Connor, Daniel Cross the Beverage Manager and Dorcas Toop, your Reservation Manager.
Even now, our guests continue to comment about the beautiful meal and service which they received from The Landmark Hotel on the day of our wedding.
On a final note, we are very proud to have had our wedding in The Landmark Hotel and we thank you very much for making our wedding day truly magical.

I would like to thank you and your wonderful staff for the assistance what was shown to our children and ourselves while we were celebrating my brother’s wedding. The attention and kindness of each member of staff that we came into contact with, during the celebrations, was beyond their call of duty.
I would like to especially point our the service shown, while the meal was on, to the children. The waitress that served us, while we were seated, was so attentive. She constantly checked on the children to see if there was anything that they needed or if I needed anything for them. Again, thank you!!!

Dear Mr. Kelly,
I wish to congratulate you and your staff on the excellent service provided by The Landmark Hotel. On July 9th, my husband and I attended a Wedding Reception. We arrived on the 8th and departed on the 11th. When we checked in, we were made most welcome by your Receptionist and that was the theme until our departure.
As I am allergic to garlic, this can cause problems. However, this was not the case in your hotel. The staff had been made aware of my allergy in advance and provided me with a garlic free meal, quietly and efficiently. The ladies serving our table were excellent.
On the following day, as your Wedding Specialist waited at the door greeting guests for the wedding of that day, I spoke to her and complimented her and her staff. On mentioning my garlic problem, I was very impressed when she remembered my name and table number.
At breakfast, we felt very special each morning because of the manner Teresa and staff greeted and served us.
On the day of our departure, the lady who serviced our room wished us the best and hoped we enjoyed our stay.
From our experience, your staff should be compared to the Jewels in the Crown.
This was our first time in Carrick-on-Shannon and in your hotel, but it certainly will not but our last.

I just wanted to say how everybody is talking about the Landmark Hotel… about the Wedding Coordinator who was there morning, noon and night. How well the hotel is run, how amazing the ballroom looked, the lights and table centerpieces were big hits and how splendid the food was. People expected a big air pocket between the beef and the pastry, they said they couldn’t believe the actual size of the beef! A few more people from work (who are used to wining and dining in hotels all over the world) said they could not find one thing to complain about – Not ONE! The ballroom and my wedding has been described by a number of people as like a ‘Wedding by Franc’!! We both really enjoyed the day more than we ever imagined, thanks to the Landmark Team.

We, along with our entire Wedding Party were so impressed by the standard of professionalism & courtesy that the staff displayed.
