Landmark Hotel Shortlisted for Wedding Venue of the Year 2009 Award

What a start to the New Year – Carrick-on-Shannon’s Landmark Hotel has been shortlisted for 2 prestigious Wedding Awards!

Ireland’s most visited On-line Wedding Forum - WeddingsOnLine.ie has released the shortlists for their annual wedding awards and The Landmark Hotel has been shortlisted for 2 awards - ‘Wedding Venue of the Year – Hotel Category’ and ‘Wedding Coordinator of the Year’.

Weddings On Line is Ireland’s most active Wedding Forum with Brides and Grooms from all over the country seeking advice, giving advice and recommendations, letting off some pre-wedding nervous steam and generally enjoying the excitement of the planning process. The members of the forum, known as ‘WOLLIES’, were invited to nominate service suppliers within the Wedding Industry. The nominations were for suppliers who go beyond the call of duty, who excel at what they do. And who better to ask than the Brides and Grooms themselves!

Overlooking the River Shannon in Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim’s Landmark Hotel has enjoyed a busy year welcoming couples from all around Ireland, UK, US, Vietnam, South Africa and as far away as Australia for their very special day. On receipt of the news of the nominations, Marketing Manager Aoife McCormack had this to say; “We are delighted to be nominated, especially when it is by those who know best – the Brides and Grooms!
