The crème de la crème of Carrick society turned out in force on Friday 15th August to attend the highlight of the Carrick Water M usic Festival - the welcome return of the Veronica Dunne Singers. Guests were welcomed by the gentle strumming of local harpist Cathy Martin before making their way into the grandiose splendour of the newly refurbished ballroom in the Landmark Hotel. An air of expectancy hung in the air. The new look Boardwalk Café re-opens
The Bar has been raised!
The Boardwalk Café reopens.
“The Landmark Hotel’s new Boardwalk Café cuisine is superb, its service excellent and its quite magnificent décor is relaxing and visually breathless. The recently re-styled Boardwalk Café has undergone considerable change. A more rustic traditional bar and lounge has been replaced by a bright, colourful contemporary style setting. Located adjacent to Carrick’s wonderful boardwalk by the Shannon marina, the hotel has more than succeeded to reflect the beauty of the picturesque scene outiside and bring it inside.”...
